Light commercial air conditioners pair one outdoor unit with one indoor unit, with larger capacity than residential splits — usually from 18,000 BTU (1.5 ton) to 120,000 BTU (10 ton). They are the workhorses of restaurants, retail stores, small supermarkets, prayer halls, clinics and open-plan offices.
We supply concealed duct, ceiling cassette, ceiling & floor and floor-standing types, in both inverter and fixed-speed versions, with T3 tropical designs for 50 °C+ summers.
- Capacities 18K–120K BTU (5.3–35 kW) — one outdoor, one indoor
- Duct, 4-way cassette, ceiling & floor and floor standing cabinets
- Inverter and non-inverter versions; R410A refrigerant
- T3 high-ambient design for Middle East summers
- 220 V single-phase and 380 V three-phase, 50/60 Hz options
- Compact floor-standing units with 3D airflow for spaces over 100 m²
- T3 (46°C) tropical-duty options — SASO / SABER & ESMA documentation support

2026 Demand Hotspots: Gulf & Europe
Middle East. Gulf buyers are moving fast from window units to ducted and cassette splits — Saudi split-unit demand jumped over 50% in 2024 while window units declined. Our light commercial range ships with T3 (46°C) test data and full SASO / SABER and ESMA documentation support, and ducted units remain the workhorse for villas, offices and showrooms across the GCC.
Europe. Record heatwaves and strict facade / permit rules are driving explosive demand for cooling that needs no outdoor unit: R290 portable air conditioners, through-wall monobloc units and quick-connect splits. China’s AC exports to the EU grew over 40% in the first half of 2026, with portable units the fastest-moving category. We source and OEM EU F-gas-compliant (R290) units for European importers — read our Europe market guide or request the lineup and MOQs.

Fixed-speed light-commercial units operate in cooling from 18°C to 50°C ambient; the dedicated T3 series is dual-rated at T1 (35°C) and T3 (46°C) and runs up to 55°C. Learn more in our guides to T3 high-ambient air conditioning and SASO / ESMA certification for the GCC, or view our certificates.
FAQ — Light Commercial Air Conditioners
What is the difference between T1 and T3 rated units?
T1 units are rated at 35°C outdoor temperature, while T3 units are rated at 46°C and use high-ambient compressors and larger condensers. Capacity is published for both conditions: our 60K-class T3 floor-standing unit delivers 17.0 kW at T1 and 15.05 kW at T3 — roughly 88% retained — and keeps operating up to 55°C, which suits Gulf-region installations.
Can one outdoor unit work with different indoor unit types?
Yes. The fixed-speed universal outdoor units (18,000–60,000 Btu/h) pair with ceiling cassette, concealed duct or ceiling & floor indoor units of the same capacity. For example, the 24K outdoor unit accepts a ducted indoor unit with 1,200 m³/h airflow and 50 Pa external static pressure. This lets distributors stock fewer outdoor SKUs while covering several installation styles.
Do you have SASO or ESMA certified models?
Yes. The 60 Hz T3 floor-standing series (CFAT-48HNR1 and CFAT-60HNR1, 230 V/1Ph/60 Hz) is rated at SASO SEER 10 and 10.1 respectively, with published annual energy consumption of 16,194 and 17,703 kWh per year. Parallel 50 Hz versions support ESMA requirements, and certification paperwork is prepared with each shipment for customs clearance.
What pipe lengths do light commercial splits support?
The 18K fixed-speed model supports up to 15 m of refrigerant piping with an 8 m height difference; 24K to 60K models extend to 20 m with a 10 m drop. Floor-standing 53K and 70K systems allow 30 m, and the twin-circuit 96K reaches 50 m. Longer runs may need an additional refrigerant charge — our engineers confirm this during selection.
